| Wowwwwww things are flying by so freaking fast! So I've been in Seattle for over a month now and it has been... quite an experience, I must say. Although I will admit there have been some times I wish I just went to UNLV instead, I will say now that I definitely do not regret my decision to come here. Things get a little better day by day, but I'm still homesick like crazy (which can seen by the fact that I call my mom at least once a day). I am counting the days until Thanksgiving so I can finally go home after two months of being all by my lonesome!
SO I pledged Alpha Xi Delta and that's the best decision I've made in my college life so far. I've met so many new people and I feel less homesick when there are so many people around. School is going pretty good... I took some pretty easy classes, but easy only in the sense that my only homework most of the time is just reading and I don't have a lot of busy work assignments. Hopefully I can get a 4.0 this quarter, BUT my lowest I will accept is a 3.5.
My birthday is this week! I'm finally turning 18!! I'm always the baby within my group of friends :( So I can finally join the adult world! Now I honestly wish I could stay 17, BUT if I want to raise my chances of getting a freaking job, I have to accept being 18 :( I'm going to go out to dinner on Friday, part-A, then karaoke! I'm super excited :D Hopefully this week won't be as long as last.... until then, adieu!

| I leave Sept 11th (bad day, I know)... I'm so sad! haha, I just wish certain things could happen even three months earlier. Two weeks left is NOT enough time for what I want to dooooo. We'll see how it turns out!

| Cuh-raaaaaaazy!
That's what I think about these past couple of years :( So, graduation has passed and I didn't pull off my straight A's as I had hoped.. haha again, I got way too lazy and just kind of.. sat back. It's okay, I ended up with more chords than I expected for graduation :) But wow, high school is over?! I'll definitely visit but to think, I'll never walk those halls again as a student :( It's kind of depressing.. I loved high school! But oh well, I guess it's time to move on. So, I'm going to University of Washington! Go huskies! I'm moving about second week of September. It's so crazy/nerve-wrecking/exciting that I don't even know what to feel. I'm scared to leave all my attachments behind, but I'm too selfish to stay behind in a place where I'm way too bored. Nine years of Vegas is enough for meeee. The funny thing is that I've never been to Seattle, but I've heard SO many great things about it, and that's enough consolation for me. But my orientation is in August and I have to go up there, so I'll have one chance of seeing before I officially move in :) Oh and I'm joining a sorority right off the bat, too!
Right now, I'm just taking some summer classes at UNLV so I can graduate early and get on with my life! And just hanging out with the besties as much as I can before we ALL go to different colleges :( Freakin' Diana in the army already.. Claire always on vacation and I'll barely have time to hang out with her before she goes to Virginia :( and Michelle who is here w/ me <3 so that's good enough haha :D
I'm also just working a lot. I don't get a lot of hours but still... and I do think I can get my Level 4 before I move :) And my manager said he'll put be me on temporary status so that every time I come home for breaks, I get to work right where I left off! How sweet :D And I'm going to miss all my co-workers :( The best ones ever <3
Ahhhhhh just gotta accept all this change -_- and savor everything I have before I lose it all.

| Wow, it's been, like, seven months since my last entry. How crazy.
SO, life has been pretty damn good so far. I couldn't pull straight A's off in my 1st semester unfortunately :( Six A's and two B's!! But I'm doing pretty well for this quarter, and I want to finish high school off with straight A's since I haven't had them since 1st semester sophomore year -_- I am going to do it!
Extra-curricular-wise.. it's been going pretty great. I finished my final forensics season and didn't do too well unfortunately, but that's what I get for not putting much effort into it. Oh well, at least I'm not afraid of public speaking anymore :) NHS is almost done.. inductions are in May and that's when I get to hand my presidency over. Student Council has been pretty much done for a while. Just some miscellaneous stuff here and there. It's mid-Track season right now... and that's my main focus. I want to qualify for regionals SO bad!! I'm just about 150m too slow in both of my events... but I think I can get there in the next month (hopefully). Let's see... other than those main extracurriculars, I'm pretty good. I'm battling against another of my friend for most-decorated at graduation, aka who has the most chords! It's going to be me! Since I lost my chance at valedictorianship two years ago :) I'm going to have five chords and the medallion! I can't wait.. haha.
In addition to all that crap, I got a job :) I work at In-N-Out.. the new one that just opened on Fort Apahce & Tropicana. That has been going pretty well.. next time I work a Friday night (which should be next Friday), I can FINALLY get my level 3! I don't expect to get my level 4, though, anytime soon since I don't close and I've never handled drive corner doing everything by myself... soooo we'll see. I'll convince my mom to let me stay past 11.. HAHA.
PROM... is coming up. I'm going to LA this weekend to shop for my prom dress! Yay :D But I still need to shop for the most important thing... a prom date :\ GRRR I'm getting annoyed. I don't know quite who I want to go with yet, but I can't keep putting it off -_- Oh well. Speaking of LA, I'm going to visit UCI, Huntington Beach, LA, and Santa Monica this weekend with my brother, his gf, his friend, and my sister. I can't wait! It's been SO long since I've had a vacation. I'm tooo excited!! :D
All that in the past seven months, jeeeeez louise. And in two more months, I'll be graduated :( It's going too fast.

| So school's going pretty well, or so it seems. It's only the beginning, so I'm not too sure. My most challenging class right now is... forensics, English, and government, haha! All my AP classes are pretty easy.. given that I'm retaking one of them and another one I'm not doing anything at all. Stats is the last one and the concepts so far are graspable. I think I can pull straight A's this semester :) I haven't done that in a while :(
Clubs, I would say, are harder to keep up with.. I mean for the most part, I can do this one day and that another. But I hate when two things clash and I can only choose one to go to! Like, I missed a XC race because of a NHS mtg, and I missed a couple of student council things for both forensics and XC! It's so frustrating :( BUT it's worth it because I think that those conflicts will pay off and get me into UDUBBBB <3 Let's see... being a SENIOR - CLASS OF 09 is pretty fun :D I get to boast about it once in a while. And crown-making is surprisingly fun, since Claire and I always get complimented and whatnot!
This week is Homecoming week. Our theme is "Under the Big Top" for the week, "The Greatest Show on Earth" for the assembly, and "Cirque du Grizz" for our dance. It's ununusual, but I think it's going decently well so far :) I'm excited for Homecoming!! I'm going w/ my besties + dates <3 And then some like Jen who is prettttty fun, I must say :D MY date is AJ...hahah.
k well, I have hw to get to so!
